The future; My future.
Where am I heading in life? Am I even doing anything that changes or affects anyone in any positive way? I want to be that person who makes a difference; that person who is brave enough to actually stand up and speak for people who can't. All I can do is watch and contribute from the sidelines, when I know that's
not all I can do. What does it take for a person like me to be someone of change and difference? Simply taking initiative. For people who do want to help the world but are too afraid to get out there, the best way is to join clubs around the issue where you can contribute your suggestions and ideas. On my pathway towards being a better person, I think in the near future I'm going to start taking initiative; to finally do things for people who actually need it instead of sitting at home doing...this. I think I'll start in gr11 though...
A lot of teenagers including myself are afraid of what the future holds. The cliche saying, "live life like every moment is your last." (Or something similiar to that haha) How can we do that when we have priorities! I don't know how other people live their lives but I just want to live mine working hard while being carefree and having fun on the side. Until one day all that hardwork will come to a time where it all pays off. That feeling of accomplishment; the feeling of
This is it.Until then, I am still working my way up. Soon, Im going to go to the hospital for volunteer applications and hopefully I can get myself a position!
I've been thinking about what to take in grade 11 and this is what I have come up with:
Chemistry
Biology
Physics
French
Music
Required classes are: religion, english and math
I wanted to take healthcare too but I have no room D: So I'm going to go to my guidance councillor and ask her if it's a good idea to take summer school for english, if not I guess I won't be taking healthcare! GAHH I really wanted to wear a scrub! and I think it would look good since I want to be a family physician in the future.
It's scary to know, I'm growing up.
